The Satori Education team boasts former teachers and educators who believe in the transformative power of edtech.

Andy Murden is one of Satori’s seasoned senior edtech consultants.

With over 30 years’ experience in education as a teacher, school leader, local authority consultant, and independent consultant, Andy helps schools see the big picture when it comes to their EdTech, enabling SLTs and tech leads to take a comprehensive and systematic approach to their strategy.

He applies his wealth of technical knowledge and project management expertise to support schools in unlocking the potential of their edtech and is keen for both staff and students to be able to make the most of their edtech and create even more of a buzz around learning.

A Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE), Andy said: “I believe edtech can enable learners of all abilities reach their potential. “If properly implemented, edtech can remove barriers and facilitate better learning for all students – but particularly learners who are neurodiverse
or those with specific learning needs.”

Andy has implemented large-scale virtual learning environments, including Moodle, Firefly and Canvas; managed delivery of a range of projects including go-live training and IT infrastructure projects for new builds; and he boasts significant expertise in Microsoft 365 for Education suite including Teams for remote and hybrid learning.
