We have launched our climate change emergency training course for school leaders as a part of our flagship training programmes.
Accredited by the The Carbon Literacy Project (CLP) and fully aligned with the Government’s Department for Education’s Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy, this new course, created by our team of specialists, is the only one of its kind in the UK.
Secretary of State for Education, the Rt Hon Nadhim Zahawi MP, recently stated that: “The challenge of climate change is formidable.
“For children and young people to meet it with determination, and not with despair, we must offer them not just truth, but also hope. Learners need to know the truth about climate change – through knowledge-rich education.”
Our course, which can either be completed through online modules and live workshops or delivered face-to-face, has been specifically designed for busy school leaders and incorporates the following:
- 2 x self-paced video based online modules to be completed at a time to suit your schedule,
- 1 x final module run as a 3 hour online workshop, which is specific to schools, academies and academy trusts. It provides a practical guide and resources to help start NetZero action planning including examples and templates, as well as links to useful resources and sources of specialist help,
- 2 x optional modules for Faith Schools and Educators.
